Loto-Quebec, the provincial lottery operator headquartered in Montreal, has signed a new agreement with Greentube, a well-known supplier of casino entertainment products.

Greentube is a part of NOVOMATIC, the international gaming giant, and it is powered by a very creative team that produces video slots, along with several other gambling products like poker, bingo, scratchcards and other casino games.

The deal between the two parties will allow Loto-Quebec’s customers to enjoy widely popular titles like Book of Ra, Apollo God of the Sun and Lucky Ladies Charm. The games will be integrated through Scientific Games’ OpenGaming System, after Loto-Quebec extended their partnership with the American company in January 2021.

In May 2021, Greentube signed a similar agreement with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, which was eager to include the provider’s top titles on its PlayNow.com online gaming platform.

Greentube’s world-class slot portfolio has proven quite popular with Canadian players and that was probably the reason behind Loto-Quebec’s decision to set up this partnership.

Thrilling And Entertaining New Content

David Bolas, the Commercial Director of Greentube, revealed that he felt this was “an exciting time” for his company’s activity in Canada as it secured the second launch in a Canadian province. The Greentube director added that this partnership is expected “to bring a broad range of thrilling and entertaining new content to the players of Quebec.”

Stéphane Martel, Acting Senior Director of Products and Innovation at Loto-Quebec, added that the government company is looking forward to being able to offer its online customers a more varied portfolio of games.

Loto-Quebec was created in 1969 by the government of the province with a mandate to operate games of chance. The government still owns the company, which now operates four casinos, around 12,000 video lottery terminals and bingo halls.

Moreover, the state-owned company has an increasingly important online presence, with several live casino titles from Evolution available to play along with virtual sports and video slots.
