Microgaming, the well-known supplier of platform software and technology for online casinos and sports betting websites, has unveiled a brand new website for the company and also a new site for PlayItForward, its social responsibility initiative.
A press release published by the company explained that the iGaming supplier “prepares to enter a new era of business” and that is why it needed a “full visual rebrand” that is expected to redefine the company’s identity.
The company has been around for 30 years, so it is one of the most experienced suppliers in the iGaming industry, but as it steps into the fourth decade since its inception it felt that a rebranding process was necessary in order to keep things fresh and attractive.
The company’s statement also explained that the brand looks to “return to its roots” and establish itself as “a leading platform software provider.” The process does not include a change of the company logo, though, the well-known Microgaming logo and the company name will remain unchanged, but the website has received a full visual overhaul which is expected to “inject new life into the brand through a contemporary look, vibrant design elements and a major focus on its people.”
Along with the visual update Microgaming is also trying to switch from being mainly a content aggregator to becoming a corporate platform software and technology provider. This change of strategy was triggered by the acquisition of several key assets of the company by Games Global in 2022, including the distribution business and the online games portfolio.
