The gaming industry in the American state of Pennsylvania had a great month in November 2021, reporting record-breaking revenue figures of 432.5 million dollars. The state also set a new record for sports betting revenue.
The new record revenue represents an increase of 52.1 percent compared to the same month of 2020, when the reported revenue was 284.3 million dollars. The increase in revenue is even greater compared to September 2020, when the Pennsylvania gaming industry produced 55.9 million dollars.
The biggest contributor to the revenue total in November 2021 was Hollywood Casino at Penn National, a venue which generated 60.1 million dollars. Valley Forge Casino Resort was in second place with 57.1 million dollars, while Parx Casino generated 56.3 million dollars in revenue.
Live! Casino Philadelphia recorded the biggest revenue increase in the state’s gaming industry, increasing its revenue no less than 6140.1 percent compared to November 2020, to 18.4 million dollars.
The most popular form of gaming in the state was represented by land-based slots, which generated revenue of 185.5 million dollars, a 43.2 increase year-on-year. Land-based table games added another 82.9 million dollars to the state’s gaming revenue, while sports betting generated 63.7 million dollars, an increase of 70.5 percent compared to the previous year.
