Playtech, the well-known global supplier of slot games and live casino content for online casinos, has reached an agreement with MIRACL, a provider of passwordless, single-step multi-factor authentication solutions.
The agreement will allow Playtech to integrate the modern solution developed by MIRACL into its own system, allowing the supplier to give its casino operator partners a secure login tool.
MIRACL announced this partnership to the public and in its statement the company noted that reaching an agreement with such an important player in the iGaming industry demonstrates the quality of its authentication solution.
The company also noted that it is fully compliant with MFA iGaming regulations regarding player login security and that it has received recognition from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), among others.
What MIRACL offers is a way to replace traditional usernames and passwords with two-factor authentication processes that should be a lot more secure but also easier to use. The solution provided by MIRACL is already in use with multiple iGaming providers from all over the world.
The two-factor authentication is paired with the latest Zero Knowledge Proof patented technology, which means that no personal data from players is ever stored or transmitted, thus protecting players from attacks from hackers that try to steal such data. Customers’ accounts are also protected from unauthorized access, making the whole online gaming experience safer and more enjoyable.
