PointsBet Canada, the division of the Australian online gambling operator, has announced it signed deals to become the exclusive sports betting partner of popular Canadian ice hockey sites Dailyfaceoff.com and the Nation Network.
Dailyfaceoff.com is a fantasy statistics and information portal for hockey fans that also like to place bets on this sport. The website publishes exclusive insights from sports professionals, inside information from the teams along with news and analysis of the league’s statistics. The Canada-facing portal has around 1.5 million users each month.
The Nation Network is, as the name suggests, a network of websites. There are 12 different sites in this network and the most popular is Oilersnation.com, which is dedicated to the Edmonton Oilers. The websites in the network publish videos, podcasts and stories that attract approximately five million Canadian users.
The partnership with PointsBet will allow both Dailyfaceoff.com and Nation Network users to view the latest odds for the upcoming hockey matches, along with analysis from PointsBet experts. Moreover, the users will get access to a wide range of tools that will help them decide which bets are worth placing.
The deal follows the legalization of single-event sports betting in Canada, with players in the country now able to place legal wagers on single sports games or events. PointsBet prepared for this event over the past year as North America is a big part of the Australian company’s future plans.
