Adda52 Set Up First-ever World Poker Tour Online India Series

Adda52, India’s leading online poker site, has managed to bring the excitement of a world class tournament series to their players as they teamed up with World Poker Tour to set up WPT Online India.

The event will kick off on November 5 and it will last for no less than 18 days, with 154 events totaling guarantees of INR 135 million. The WPT Online India Main Event will have a guaranteed prize pool worth 25 million rupees.

Adda52 is the largest online poker site in India, with over 2 million users currently registered. The platform is operated by a company called Delta Corp, which owns and operates casinos and hotels under several brands.

World Poker Tour is a well-known international brand, which organizes televised poker tournaments all around the world.

The main event at WPT Online India will have a buy-in of INR 11,000, and the winners of the ten starting flights will get WPT Passports worth 5,000 dollars apiece. Those passports can then be used at any live WPT event around the world.

Moreover, the Main Event champion will get his hands on a superb Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Titanium luxury watch, which is worth over ten thousand US dollars.

The series will also feature a Mega Player Leaderboard which will pack INR 2.5 million in prizes, with the winner getting INR 1 million ($13,600). There will also be a Mini Player of the Series leaderboard, with 125 events being eligible and the top 10 awarded a total of 1 million rupees.

The last day of the series, November 22, will be dedicated to the memory of American poker player and commentator, Mike Sexton, who passed away on September 6, 2020.

Sexton started his career as a professional poker player all the way back in the 1980s and managed to win over 7 million dollars in various events around the world.

The event dedicated to his memory will have a buy-in of INR 11,000 and the winner will walk away with a WPT Passport worth 1,000 dollars.
