Planet Sport Ready To Enter Indian Market

Planet Sport, the global tech and media company that also owns and operates an online sportsbook and casino, has announced the launch of its full suite of products and services in India.

For the Indian market, Planet Sport will work with local operators, suppliers and affiliates. The company has announced that for now it will focus on delivering content for cricket, the most popular sport in India, along with football, tennis, badminton, hockey and eSports.

The content will be available both in Hindi and English and it will be written by native speakers based in India. The services offered by Planet Sport will also cover website design and app development, while the company’s proprietary live score centre can be deployed in various ways, depending on the partners’ wishes.

Planet Sport also revealed that it has its first partnerships in place, while discussions are ongoing with several other prominent brands on the Indian market.

Dean Rayson, Head of Sales at Planet Sport, described this moment as “a major milestone” for the company, as the Indian market is believed to have “tremendous potential”. Rayson added that the company’s business-to-business products and services could make a difference in this competitive market.

Moreover, the Planet Sport representative pointed out that delivering content in Hindi could also help set this offering apart from other players in the market. In conclusion, Dean Rayson expressed his belief that “India really is the place to be” thanks to the exciting development opportunities.

The launch on the Indian market comes shortly after Planet Sport unveiled Planet Vision, its new live casino cross-sell tool that allows operators to integrate video and live odds streams into the live casino environment.

Planet Sport has been working with the online betting and iGaming industry for years, partnering with big names in this market such as Betfair, William Hill and Paddy Power. The company has also developed its own online betting website, Planet Sport Bet, which also features live casino games and slots.
