Royal Sabah Turf Club in Malaysia has announced that it signed a landmark agreement with BetMakers, the global supplier of betting technology and content management services.
The Royal Sabah Turf Club hosts the famous Tambalang Race Course and it also owns an associated betting network that is operating off-course. After having signed this agreement, the betting network will be run through the Global Tote and Global Racing Network divisions owned by BetMakers.
The agreement between the two sides has a length of five years and it will also see BetMakers supply its Quantum betting system to the Royal Sabah Turf Club. Moreover, BetMakers becomes the exclusive distributor for the races held at the Malaysian club within Tote and fixed-odds markets.
BetMakers is the full owner of Global Tote, which was acquired from Sportech in 2021. It is Global Tote that will be in charge of delivering the Quantum system to the Malaysian club as a software-as-a-service solution, providing the Royal Sabah Turf Club all the operational tools to distribute its races to betting operators from all over the world.
