BetGames.TV, the global supplier of live dealer and betting games, has launched an original online version of one of the most popular social games of all times: Rock, Paper, Scissors.
This game is played all over the world at the moment but it seems its origins go back to 206BC, when the Han Dynasty first introduced this passtime in China. BetGames.TV created a modern take of this classic in the form of a live dealer casino game, in which the player competes against the dealer in one of two risk zones.
The silver zone is the less risky choice for the player as it’s more rewarding in case of a tie, while the gold zone has more risks involved but it also gives bigger rewards in case of a win.
The dealer has a deck of 24 special playing cards, with rock, paper and scissors symbols. One card is dealt into each zone to determine the outcome of the hand. The betting rounds last 20 seconds each, that’s when the player must select a stake and which of the two zones to bet against.
The player can also choose to bet against both zones, which have the same default 5% margin. The difference between the zones is in the payout’s distribution for draw and win. The payout system can be configured to accommodate the desires of online casinos.
