Live Hi-Lo Review (Playtech)

A casino game can hardly get any simpler than Live Hi/Lo, with players invited to bet on the next card being higher, lower, or of same value as the base card. Three dealer cards are burned before the result card is dealt. Having won, the player can choose from Bet All and Bet Some options.

The first will allow them to stake the entire amount on one position, and the other to divide their winnings between multiple ones.  In order to make the game a bit more exciting, Playtech has added additional wagering options and offered players to bet on the winning card being an Ace of any suit (paying x11.56), King or Ace of any suit (x5.78), within a certain range (x2.89), and Red or Black (x1.92).

A small window provides visual overview of other players’ wagers by showing percentages for the three main outcomes – Higher, Lower, and Snap. At the same time, Statistics button displays hit frequency per card, colour and range.

Game settings will allow you to disable animations, adjust the volume of game sounds and the dealer’s voice, auto-confirm bets, and show tooltips which display betting information when passing your mouse over various options. Hi/Lo comes complete with Live Chat and tipping functionalities, and at BGO one can place bets ranging from €1 to €1,500.
